(Virginia Beach, Va., April 20, 2020) – In recognition of the dedication and compassion of those working on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic, Animal Vision Center of Virginia is offering free animal eye screening exams now through May 31, 2020 for pets of first responders and healthcare workers in Hampton Roads.
“We know this community is giving up time with their loved ones and their pets to do their job. We wanted to make at least one thing a little easier,” said Dr. Heather Brookshire, who owns and operates the Virginia Beach practice. “A screening doesn’t take a lot of time, and it’s extremely helpful if you’ve seen noticeable changes in your pet’s eyesight. The quicker we can determine the issue and begin ocular care, the longer they can enjoy a long, healthy life.”
First responders and healthcare workers should call 757-749-4838 to schedule the free screening. To make it safe and easy, Animal Vision Center of Virginia offers drive-up telehealth services, allowing pet owners to participate in appointments through live video or voice telehealth phone conferencing from their car.
Providing quality ophthalmic care for animals of all shapes and sizes, Animal Vision Center of Virginia is located at 521 Old Great Neck Road, Suite 2, in Virginia Beach.
