Our veterinary friends with Golden Paws Veterinary Service and House Calls are having a Halloween Pet Costume Contest, Oct. 26 at the COVA Brewing Co., 9529 Shore Drive, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come in costume (pets and people too!).

Be sure to meet Golden Paws owner, Tara Golden. A Navy veteran and a veterinarian, she launched her mobile practice to bring quality veterinary service to the region’s aging pet population. Tara and her team provide medical, surgical and dental veterinary care for pets in their humans’ homes, in addition to end-of-life care.

Proceeds from the contest will benefit this group’s Golden “Pawsiblities”
charitable organization.
