Wine down your evening with “Ophtho Rounds & Wine”
We have missed seeing our fellow veterinarians for our quarterly “Lunch & Learn” continuing education sessions and at our fun after-hours events. These gatherings are on hold for a bit longer. In the meantime, we invite you to join us for a new virtual event—“Ophtho Rounds & Wine” on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. via Zoom.
We thought this would be a relaxing way to discuss new developments in animal ophthalmology and for our referring veterinarians to present any ocular cases they’d like to discuss among peers. For our launch party, we will focus on the causes and treatment of Uveitis, with a few case examples and a brief review of the underlying pathophysiology and treatment of the disease. This will also be a great way for you to get to meet our fantastic new team members, Dr. Taylor Belk and Dr. Amanda Romaneck.
So, pour your favorite beverage and join us for a good time and lively discussion.
The first 10 veterinarians* to RSVP (no later than Oct. 15) will receive a complimentary bottle of wine from our friends at Ankida Ridge Vineyards in Amherst County, Va. You may know the winery owner, Dr. Dennis Vrooman, DVM, previous owner of Beach Pet Hospital in Virginia Beach. He and his son Nathan, who makes the wine, will join us at the beginning of the call. They will tell us about the vineyard and the wine we are tasting, along with expert tasting notes and discussion. Whether you are sampling this wine or a drink of your own, this will be a fun, informative part of our call and I hope you will participate!
Please RSVP to [email protected]. We look forward to catching up, hearing about your cases, and brushing up on the causes and treatment of Uveitis.
*If you please, vets from the same practice may want to share the complimentary bottle.
