A Look at Systemic Hypertension and the Eye
Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 10 from 7-8 p.m. for our next virtual Ophtho Rounds & Wine event, held (on Zoom!) just for our referring veterinarians. This time, we’ll be shining our Ophthalmoscope on Hypertension and the Eye, and your participation will be good for 1 CE hour.
A common ocular condition in both dogs and cats, hypertension (or high blood pressure) happens when there is persistent elevation in one or all blood pressure parameters (systolic/diastolic/mean), affecting how much the heart has to work to move blood throughout the body. On our March rounds, we’ll be reviewing the clinical signs, causes, and treatment options for our furry friends. And, we’ll have an update on our second Animal Vision Center of Virginia practice, opening this spring in Chesapeake.
Won’t you join us? The first 20 veterinarians* to RSVP will receive a complimentary bottle of a Sparkling Rosé from Rosemont Vineyards, in La Crosse, Va.
Please RSVP no later than March 2.
*If you please, vets from the same practice may want to share the complimentary bottle.
