Won’t you join us on our May Rounds?

Please mark your calendar for our next Ophtho Rounds & Wine event, on Thursday, May 20 from 7-8 p.m. on Zoom. This time our practice leaders will focus on Diabetes and the Eye, and we hope you can join us for this discussion and case study review.

While diabetes mellitus affects dogs and cats in much the same way it affects humans, most people are unaware of the numerous ocular changes that can develop secondary to diabetes. This can include KCS, corneal changes, rapid cataract formation, uveitis and hypertension/retinal changes. We’ll look at the causes, therapies, monitoring and treatment, as well as cases we have seen.
